IL DESIGNER: GAETANO PERRONE
Amore per i colori, il gusto della ricchezza di tessuti e finiture, la ricerca di nuove proporzioni, queste sono le caratteristiche per la realizzazione di oggetti del desiderio, pensati e disegnati per una donna che desidera sentirsi femminile e forte. Lo studio della dimensione del piede ed il più alto livello di qualità manifatturiera permette a questo brand di essere unico e contemporaneo. Grazie ad una collaborazione con Antonio Berardi, Perrone ha avuto accesso al mondo della creatività senza limiti né costrizioni. Disegnando scarpe fatte a mano, Perrone è cresciuto imparando ad ottenere la bellezza attraverso i più piccoli oggetti, una bellezza che stava cambiando ed aveva la necessità di bilanciare il sistema delle proporzioni. L'esperienza acquisita dopo anni di collaborazione con brand di fama internazionale come Salvatore Ferragamo, Sergio Rossi, Kenzo, Iceberg, Gianvito Rossi, Christian Dior e Alexander Mc Queen, ha permesso al designer di creare prodotti speciali da molti riconosciuti come opere d'arte.
The aesthetic behind this new brand draws inspiration from the lands in the south native to G. The love for colours, the taste for richness in textures and finishes, the search for new proportions, all these features come together to create desirable objects, designed for a woman who wants to feel feminine and yet strong. The understanding of the proportions of the foot and the highest level of manufacturing quality make this brand unique and contemporary. G started experiencing shoes with Antonio Berardi, who introduced him into a world of creativity where there were no limits or boundaries. Designing hand made shoes, G grew to learn how to create beauty through this small object, beauty that was challenging given the necessity to balance proportions. Leading the shoe design department at Salvatore Ferragamo, he learned how to manage the creation of an important collection bringing some freshness and modernity into a classic product. Dedicating the last ten years to shoes and leather goods, G has worked for many labels including Sergio Rossi, Kenzo, Iceberg, Gianvito Rossi and Christian Dior. However, his three years at Alexander Mc Queen setting up shoes and leather good collections worthy of the Mc Queen name, have been the most challenging and rewarding. The experience acquired over the years and the knowledge of attention to details, have enabled him to design a range of very special objects one could view as art.

Superfici iridescenti, mix di texture differenti, disegnano una collezione in cui le scarpe sono come esseri di un bestiario immaginario, un catalogo di animali rari dal dna incerto. In alcune le squame di un rettile lasciano posto alle piume che a loro volta si trasformano in un manto peloso; altre hanno i colori cangianti di piccoli coleotteri. Anche i colori brillanti della collezione rispecchiano la gamma cromatica degli insetti. I tacchi sono dritti e le linee degli scolli montanti; le forme sono arrotondate e le silhouette sinuose, ma con linee molto decise. I dettagli sono preziosi: infilature fatte a mano, gioielli smaltati, e ricami fatti con filati giapponesi che ricreano la texture dei pellami stessi; infine piccoli scarabei che rimangono incastonati tra cristalli neri e piume di fagiano. Una serie di clutch morbidamente drappeggiate completano questa collezione di esseri inusuali.
This collection features shoes with iridescent surfaces and mix of different textures. They are like little animals of an imaginary bestiary, a catalogue of rare beasts of unknown origin. In some of them reptile scales become feathers, and fur; others are in the changing colours of the scarabs. Even the bright colours used in throughout the collection belongs to the world of insects. The heels are straight and vamps are high ond the foot neck; the shapes are rounded and silhouettes are sinuous. There is richness in details: hand made saddle stitch, enamelled jewels, and embroideries done with Japanese threads to recreate the skins texture; little enamelled beetles are set among black crystals an pheasant feathers. A small range of soft draped clutches completes this collection of little beasts.
